I was looking for well balanced dogs with typical temperaments, broad round haed, wide between the eyes, short nose with definite stop & tip tilted giving the desirable expression, short muscular legs with ample bone, broad, deep chest & level topline, high tailset. Front action reaching well forward, strong rear action showing full pads. Found many of these requirements in my top placings particularly in the younger dogs. This I feel is hugely refreshing, the breeding programmes are more meticulous in following the Standard definitive blueprint currently. |
