Many sincere thanks to my very efficient stewards who are often under rated and who we couldn’t do without. I have judged with one of them stewarding previously and was delighted to see him present in my ring. They were both excellent, making my job very much easier. Many thanks also to the exhibitors for giving me the pleasure of handling some lovely exhibits on my first appointment at this level.
I did feel that there were several different types and sizes present, making some classes difficult to judge, but I was delighted with my overall winners. There were some that did not have the desired large round eye (oval in one or two cases), a trait that perhaps should be watched for by breeders. Temperaments however were excellent in all cases and presentation was very good indeed. |
