It is always a great honour to judge at this most prestigious show. The numbers and sheer quality of the dogs make this a most exciting and rememberable experience I will always cherish. |

I would like to thank the exhibitors who braved the rain and mud to show their dogs under me. They all started out looking beautiful, but once around the ring, which most did not like at all, some decided enough was enough, so movement was very difficult to assess. |

A few major faults are getting into the breed - lack of spring of rib, very long backs, narrow skulls and flat tails. Try to keep the breed characteristics of this happy breed. |

I enjoyed my day and really admired many dogs on show. The entry was superb and all the dogs were shown in good coat and condition. I would like to thank my sporting exhibitors for the enthusiasm shown on the day, making the Shih Tzu the largest entry in Utility Group. Thrilled my BOB won G2 |

I enjoyed judging Shih Tzus once again. I felt the quality was very good and some decisions were very close. Fronts need to be watched, as does size, as they varied from nearly Maltese to far too large. Presentation was excellent. |
