based on what they saw on the day of the show.
| I would like thank everyone for their entries. I was very pleased with all the dogs I placed, some decision were very tight in the more mature classes. One thing I found in the bitch classes, which I had not seen before is a totally flat head with no foreface or stop to the nose, the teeth are correct but no chin making the face flat like a plate, this is definitely not correct in a Shih Tzu. Presentation is excellent but a lot of dogs are very underweight and narrow with no spring of rib, one width all the way through, this is also not correct and cannot be covered by a long flowing coat once you have your hands on. I love this breed and although I have often thought about buying another, when it comes down to it I don’t think I will ever have another breed they are so special. |

| 1st | Akasaka Wunder Of Hugh | Solid Gold very sound puppy. Excellent body and bone, excels in head with low set ears, good jaw and black eyes. Handler could have lost this place by not watching how he was standing. |
| 2nd | Ch. Yakee Diamond Geezer at Santosha (UK, Rus) | G/W so sound in movement, very free flowing puppy well constructed with ample bone and in excellent coat. |

| 2nd | Ch. Popeye’s Quick On The Trigger at Huxlor | B/W Stunning black and white well marked dog put down in very good order. Wonderful expression, coal black eye and excellent pigmentation. Just a little too fine for a dog for me. |

| 1st | Paliden Shining Star | Red/white. This exhibitor always seems to pull something out of the bag when I judge and this boy is no exception. So sound in movement, terrific head and expression, wonderful dentition and jaw, excellent dark eye. Moved soundly with animation. |

| 1st | Harropine Charly Sheen to Cremefern | Grey/White. Old type Shih Tzu with excellent head and expression, well placed nose of correct size and wide set dark eye. |

| 1st | Bellwaycharm Here And Now at Tilbe ShCM | G/W. I loved him from his entry into the ring so together, moved well without losing his balance and shape, correctly carried tail and level topline. Has the most beautiful expression, with tip tilted nose and good stop correct jaw. |
| 2nd | Weatsom Takes One To Know One at Sonoltay JW | Red/White. Another really nice dog beautifully presented in excellent coat. Pleasant head and expression, moved soundly keeping his topline well set on tail giving overall picture. |

| 1st | Ch. Peekin Jimmy Choo-Tu | One I have always liked but does not always cooperate (but outside today and that seems to suit him). Moved soundly with arrogance today so well balanced, carries his head well, level topline at all times. He has a pleasant expression, good dark eye, wide jaw well set on correct size nose with good stop. CC |
| 2nd | Harropine Gunther ShCM | Another really nice boy moved soundly with level topline, correct tail set balancing his well carried head. My sort of head and expression, correctly placed nose of correct size and excellent pigmentation and eye colour in his light coat. |

| 1st | Ch. Pekoe Fatal Attraction JW | G/W Very very special baby such a wonderful feminine head, correctly placed nose, good dentition and jaw, level topline moved well for her young age. Put down beautifully, could have walked off with her. |
| 2nd | Eribie Bella Cosa | G/W. Good size pretty head, correct nose placement with wide jaw. Well covered body, good bone moved soundly. |

| 2nd | Gladmin Makeda | G/W Well constructed puppy with good body and bone just needs to settle a little on the move but a happy puppy is better than a frightened miserable one! Pretty head and expression, good jaw and dentition, wide set dark eyes. |

| 1st | Ch. Chelhama Leading Light JW | Red/White. One of my favorites having judged her as a puppy. Extremely feminine bitch, lovely head and expression, carries herself well, level topline and well balanced head and tail. |

This is a really special little bitch, so sound in body really can cover the ground without being run, really flows around the ring. Excellent balanced shape, she carries her head so well. Excels in head, with broad scull, wide set eyes of good dark colour, well placed nose with good stop. |
| 2nd | Ch. Venustus Jump For Joy | G/W. What a wonderful colour she is a deep chocolate, I thought she might have light eyes until I looked into her face, they are even deeper than the colour of her coat melting. Pretty feminine head of correct proportion to her body, flows around the ring. |

| 2nd | Ch. Santosha Carte Noir | Solid Black. Such a wonderful strong black, with excellent head such a good scull and stop, nose placement is perfect, jaw is wide with correct dentition. |
