based on what they saw on the day of the show.
| I would like to thank exhibitors for a wonderful entry and thank my two brilliant stewards. I last judged Shih Tzus in 2015 and at that time I thought the breed was in a great place. So many good mouths I commented that the breeders were to be congratulated. What has happened since then is disappointing. On the day there had to be compromises, as not many had good construction and type. Some that just oozed beautiful type were not sound. What has happened to the Shih Tzu kick back, where are the well sprung ribs, only few present here today. |

| 1st | Daltricia Nanga Parbat JW | Gold/white baby so full of himself. Wonderful head and expression, good width to muzzle, loved his balance, excellent tail set. Good width to front, excelled in all angles. Very exuberant and exciting on the move. |
| 2nd | Prins Big Treasure Heniwo’s With Fairlou (Imp | Gold/white, my notes say naughty but nice. Lovely head and expression, excellent tail set, used his good rear angles to advantage |

| 2nd | Essvana Midnight Express | All black boy, same attributes apply as 1st, just on the day 1st held himself together more. Close decision. |

| 1st | Norbhoo Baccarat For Crannusel | A very mixed poor class,Gold/white nicely balance strong male, good nostrils, shoulder placement good, tail set well balanced, moved out well. |
| 2nd | Sistasu Silver Storm | Brindle/white very nice boy, good shape and balance, nice head but a little refined, good ribbing, little unsettled but moved well enough for his place. |

| 1st | Daltricia Kwakwali JW ShCM | B/w, this boy was lovely to go over, great balance, excellent body with well sprung ribs, shoulder/upper arm excellent (one of the few here today) Masculine head plenty of width to skull, good eye colour, perfect tail set. Moved like a ship in sail, liked him a lot |

| 1st | Ch. Shalehan Yasheron | Two nice examples of the breed,G/w Handsome head, ok front assembly but would have liked more angulation at the rear. Moved well |
| 2nd | Ch. Miracey Zero Hour | Glamourous g/w up to size but lovely balance, super head, excellent tail set, just naughty on the move. |

| 1st | Ch. Zamadar Majic Potion for Cedarhythe | My notes say “At Last!!�? A dog that has it all. B/w correct construction, gorgeous head, super coat texture, has balance and attitude. Correct tail, strong top line coming from superb body and muscle tone, good ration of body to leg length AND a correct mouth. Moved as if he owned the ring, which he did. CC + BOB |
| 2nd | Ch. Sistasu Silver Lining JW ShCM | B/w with great balance, good from handsome head to good tail set. Correct mouth giving a lovely expression. Great body proportions, moved out well and was a close runner to 1st. |

| 1st | Debeaux Perpetual Bliss | B/w young lady that has that ‘certain something’. Full of character and charm. Well bodied through out, fabulous mouth, superb front assembly and moved as if she owned the ring. |
| 2nd | Senobles Midnight in Moscow | G/w similar comments apply as 1st. Beautiful head and expression, good shoulder placement, nice back end which she used on the move. Two nice pups |

| 1st | Essvana Matilda | Oh my god this girl has it all, fell in love with her on sight. She was my WOW moment. Exquisite B/W loved her fabulous outline and balance, her ratios were spot on. Beautiful head, good nostrils, fabulous shoulder/upper arm angles and corresponding rear, good rib cage giving plenty of heart and lung room, well ribbed back she even had kick back on the move (didnt find many with it) A complete package which reminded me of Take Me To The Top. Only her lack of maturity made her stand Res CC. Loved her and shall watch her progress with interest. |

| 1st | Ch. Zeeva Reflections JW | This gold/white girl really appealed in outline. Her head is to die for, strong arched neck into level top line, all angles good, excellent tail carriage that gave her a superb balance. Sweetest of expressions. Moved steady. |
| 2nd | Lyndatzu Que Sah Rah JW | G/w loved her outline, well bodied, nicely balanced. Pretty head, moved well. |

| 1st | Ch. Tsantha Adornment | Gold girl of lovely type, plenty of Shih Tzu substance, excelled in front conformation, super angles front and back, excellent mouth. A surprise package for me as she did not appeal on first sight, just goes to show you have to get your hands on. |
| 2nd | Carlita Time to Samba JW | G/w of different balance to 1st. Beautiful head, excellent strong neck into level top line, good front assembly and matching rear angles. Beautifully balanced with correct tail carriage. Moved well |

| 1st | Ch. Shorestar Hocus Pocus JW | All black girl that really appealed. Exquisite balance, fabulous outline, beautiful expressive with substance. For me I would have liked a tighter mouth. head and eye. Good angles throughout, well ribbed back |
| 2nd | Tameron Miss Paris | My heartbreak girl. Loved everything about her but she decided that today she would not cooperate. Super head, good strong neck, high tail set, classic body, with a change of handler she moved enough to gain her this place. |

| 1st | Qanukakira Oopzadayzy | All gold(whycant we call them red now?!) Won today on her Complete package. Super Balance, a treat to go over, nothing out of place, snooty expression, stunning Balance, excelled in her construction and when she moved she owned the ring, full of character and joy de Vive, Happy to give her, her first CC and hope there will be more to come. |
