Full Critique for Welsh KC 2019

This critique reflects the judge's opinion
based on what they saw on the day of the show.
| I would like to thank the Welsh Kennel Club for the invitation to judge today and the exhibitors for their entries and sportsmanship acceptance of my decisions on the day . The exhibits were well presented on the whole however I do feel that mouths seem to have deteriorated and need to be watched in future breeding programs . A few exhibits had very short ribs and a few slab sided which for a Shih Tzu is wrong you need a long strong barrel shaped rib cage to contain all the organs . Movement on the whole has improved since I last judged but some exhibits I feel need more exercise to strengthen back ends. Breed type needs watching I find a varied assortment the Shih Tzu is a strong proud little dog and we must not lose that in the future |

B.V. I am told he went on to 3rd in Veteran Group and won Veteran Stakes . Great results . |
