based on what they saw on the day of the show.
| I would like to say a big thank you to the officers& committee for inviting me to judge here. BUBA has always been one of my favourite shows. Thank you also to my two super efficient stewards who looked after me so well as I was feeling under the weather on the day. Thank you to all the exhibitors who accepted my decisions very well & I found the atmosphere to be very sporting. Having not judged for a few years I was looking forward to seeing how the breed was doing. It was also interesting having recently judged in Australia at the 50th Anniversary Club Show. I found the breed very mixed here on the day & trying to find the type I like was quite challenging. Heads were in my opinion not as good as the last time I judged. A lot of dogs had small skulls & very untypical expressions. I do think a Shih Tzu should be able to move with drive & found movement to be poor in quite a few exhibits with poor shoulders & very straight hindquarters lacking in angulation. However, I found some high quality Shih Tzus & particularly the higher awarded ones were great specimens of the breed & I was delighted with my line ups. |

| 2nd | Ch. Miracey Rebel Rider (UK, Ir) | G/W A young puppy presented well, Not as good in head as 1 but pleasing. He was a little hesitant on the move.has good substance |

| 1st | Carlita Surrender To Dream | B/W. What a future this male has. Lovely head with good width. Good mouth giving a very arrogant expression. He has good substance superb balance with a great tail. Presentedin beautiful order. Moved with great style & vigour. Very pleased to see he went on to get RBPIS. Congratulations BP. |

| 1st | Ch. Miracey All Guns Blazin | G/W Very apt name as he did come out all guns blazing.A super young male. Liked his head very typical & arrogant. Good dentition & sweet expression. Masculine with good bone. Level topline which he kept on the move. Very good balance with a super tail. Presented to perfection as one would expect from this kennel & Moved with good drive. RCC. |
| 2nd | Pekoe One Direction JW | G/W I liked this dog. He has a very pleasing head with an arrogant expression. Good neck & shoulder & good substance throughout. Again a male with a good topline. He was presented well & moved with style. Very unlucky to meet 1 insuch good form. |
