based on what they saw on the day of the show.
| Firstly, I would like to thank the Manchu committee for this invitation, their hospitality and generosity. Also thanks to my very efficient stewards and the exhibitors for a wonderful quality entry and creating a lovely atmosphere. I totally enjoyed my day amongst one of my favourite breeds. When judging this breed I always try to stay true to the vital characteristic that sets this breed apart for any other and I am happy to say that I was very pleased to find that these characteristics in abundance. I would encourage breeders to try to improve rear angulation as I found quite a few who were very straight in stifle. |

Desirable size and lovely balance. Excellent top-line, tail-set and carriage. Excellent bone, good front assembly, moved well, holds shape well on the move, excellent outgoing temperament. Was in serious contention for the tickets today – just lost out on maturity of the Open winner. |

| 1st | Matsuba Infinity and Beyond With Rygar | This outstanding grey and white dog “ticks all the boxes??? for me – ideal size, long and low, with a gorgeous head & expression and in mint condition. He has a very typical head and expression, with a well-shaped skull, lovely dark well placed eyes, warm, noble expression well placed, tip-tilted nose. Excellent mouth and chin. Superb, well balanced typical outline with well arched neck and excellent tail set and carriage. The coat was in immaculate condition. Free flowing on the move and held this impressive shape at all times. Calm, self-assured temperament. I was delighted to award him the DCC and later on BIS. (DCC & BIS) |

A little heavy in front but excellent rear assembly. Excellent substance. Positive attitude. |

Distinctly masculine but with no trace of coarseness, lovely dark, well shaped eye, excellent nose placement and good tilt. Good bone & substance. Attractive, well arched neck, good top-line and tail-set. Good depth of chest but would prefer him slightly longer in rib cage. Excellent front assembly and reasonable turn of stifle. He is the consummate show-man and moved well and never stopped showing. In tip-top condition and lovely coat texture. Super temperament. (RES CC) |

Her typical outline is ultra-feminine, yet study, ideal size and all enhanced by a splendid head piece. Well shaped dark expressive eyes, excellent nose placement, open nostrils, excellent mouth and chin. Excellent neck and top-line, excellent tail-set and carriage, excellent outline. In glorious coat and condition, excellent coat texture. She flowed on the move. She is self-confident and has a very enchanting haughtiness about her.
