A fabulous entry of 99 and for a Thursday, I thought that was excellent. I really, really enjoyed judging your breed today for the first time at Championship level. I found the dogs easier to judge, the bitches made me think more. The exhibitors were a sporting bunch and I enjoyed spending my day with you all. I’ve said it before but its breed that definitely makes you smile as your judging them, they have character in abundance. |
Minor Puppy Dog | ||
1st | Debeaux Mackeson | What a confident young man he is. Looks a picture free standing, no stacking required! He held himself so well on the move. Fabulous front and rear, so sound moving around the ring, with perfect head and tail carriage. His Black & White coat was presented to perfection. He has a nice head shape, and developing nicely. Could be a smidgen shorter in muzzle for ideal, but he has plenty of time on his side. A little born showman. |
2nd | Peekin Reggie Rebel-Tu | This Gold and White has a lovely silhouette, very nicely balanced. He has a stunning head and expression, so full of breed type. He has a sound front with straight short front legs, level back with a tidy rear. He carried his tail well. Unfortunately he wasn’t playing ball when it came to the move; he acted up just what minor puppies do. The main thing is he was enjoying himself, and by the time he leaves nursery (minor puppy class) I’m sure he will have the hang of it by then. |

1st | Ch. Thaisu’s Blinding Light | A solidly made Gold with black mask. Fabulous head type, dark round eyes that were placed correctly, his nose has that slight up tilt to it. His muzzle is short and has good width. Nice arched neck, sound shoulders with clean straight front with thick short legs. He has super ribs, deep chest with plenty of heart room. His rear is firm with quality muscle tone. He carries his tail well at all times. Strong sound mover. Beautifully presented. Hope he’s done most of his growing. Best Puppy dog. |
2nd | Thaisu Storming Off To Bishbow | I was pleased to be told after the class 1 and 2 are litter brothers. Black and White. He has a super well balanced outline. Loved his nose placement and wide square muzzle. He has excellent body proportions, level back with excellent tailset and carriage. He has very good bone and substance throughout. Shown in fabulous coat and condition. Preferred his brother’s eyes and he was just a little too exuberant today probably due to the family reunion. |
Junior Dog | ||
1st | Ch. Matsuba King Of Hearts | Gold & White. This young man ticked all my breed standard boxes today. He has the most appealing head and expression. Broad skull with large dark round eyes, correct nose placement with big healthy nostrils and his wide muzzle completes the picture. He carries his head so correctly on his strong neck; he has a sound front with straight, short legs. His topline is level and with an excellent tailset and carriage. His rear is firm with lovely muscle tone. His movement is a joy to watch, he powers around the ring showing full rear pads. His coat was in beautiful condition and expertly presented. Delighted to award him his 2nd CC and BOB today. |
2nd | Mifcahs The Young Pretender | A solidly made boy who was just a touch plainer in head than 1st. He excels in bone, substance and coat! He was sound as a pound on the move really showing off his rear pads. Correct coat texture and nicely turned out. Well handled and schooled. |
Beginners Dog | ||
1st | Tameron Mr Gold Xcess | A quality Gold & White who has lovely breed type. I liked his head shape, broad and round skull without being coarse. Good eye size and shape, correct nose placement with healthy nostrils. Correct body proportions. Well set tail. Moved around the ring with purpose. Shown in lovely condition. |
2nd | Baccibo Truly Madley Deeply | A solid Gold dog that has a handsome head, a super big healthy nose, short muzzle with some width. He has a good neck, sound front with shortish legs that are well off for bone. His rear is firm with muscle tone. I think he is perhaps just a little too long in body for ideal shape. Moved well and in good coat. Nicely presented. |
Novice Dog | ||
1st | Marhilway Driving Edge At Jacquinta JW | Large broad head on the Gold and White. He has a large healthy nose with big nostrils. His muzzle is short and square. Expressive large round eyes giving an oriental expression. He has super bone and substance throughout. Short straight front legs, level back, strong rear with good angulation. He carries his tail gaily over his back. He lacks a little coat just now but what he did have was the correct texture and in good order. Sound as a pound on the move. |
2nd | Mapimakastar Jason Mio | A fairly good headed dog, with the correct expression. He lacks a little neck so can appear ‘stuffy’. His topline is level and has a lovely tailset and big plumed tail carried correctly. He is a sound mover and his coat was in nice order. Well handled and schooled. |
Yearling Dog | ||

The most appealing head and expression, big dark eyes, short muzzle, up tilted nose – packed full of breed type. He is well off for bone and substance throughout. 1st | Ch. Minfaa Sundance Kid | Strong class, I liked the first 3 very much and was splitting hairs. 1st – This Gold & White for me had one of the best silhouettes today, the perfect outline. He was shown in full coat and every hair was accounted for, presented to the highest standard. Masculine head piece, short muzzle with slight tilt of the nose, expressive eyes of correct size and shape. He has a strong neck, sound shoulders with clean straight short legs. Dead straight topline with excellent tailset and a big plumed tail carried gaily over his back. He really uses his strong rear to shown those pads. Presented to perfection. Just preferred the front on 1. |

1st | Ch. Mifcahs The King And I JW (Dk,Nor,Swe,No,Int) | A very strong class full of quality! – Fabulous gold and white. He really has a look of arrogance about him, like we are all beneath him. He has a textbook head, so masculine. Loved his big full beard that falls from his perfectly placed nose and strong short muzzle. Perfect head and tail carriage, and really looks the part when he is stacked. He has a wealth of quality coat, with the perfect dense outer coat. He moves really well in both directions and holds his shape really well. RCC. |

Impressive head and expression. Good length of neck and body. Super tailset and carriage. Moved very well in both directions. His coat was presented to perfection. A real credit to his owner. |
2nd | Ch. Keytor All That Jazz | I’m not surprised to see CH in front of his name. Stunning head piece, fabulous expression. Sound shoulders and a firm rear with good angulation. Minor Puppy Bitch | ||
1st | Santosha Sunkissed At Miracey | This little star was at her second show today, and what an impression she left on me. A gorgeous Gold and White, the breed type was oozing out of her. Fabulous head piece, excellent nose placement, dark typey eyes and short squarish muzzle. She has a good neck, perfect straight front with short legs. Her body is the correct length with good ribs already, certainly not slab sided! Her rear is tidy and will firm up as she matures. She carried her tail perfectly on the move. Her puppy coat was in immaculate condition. She behaved how a puppy should and wasn’t perfect on the move on her first attempt. She had a little stop start episode and then she took off, and when she did she moved with style and drive. The cheek just stares out of her, a real little character and I bet she’s so much fun to live with. BEST PUPPY IN BREED. Could have taken her back to Scotland. |
2nd | Santosha Serenade For Essvana | Litter sister to 1st. What a great litter, the breeder must be proud! Adorable puppy that has a lovely outline. Cracking head with naughty yet friendly expression. Well placed eyes that were of correct size and shape. Perfect up tilted nose with open nostrils. Her muzzle was square and flat. Her neck is good length, she has a level back with super ribs. Her tail was set high and carried well over her back. Very sound on the move and moving with style in all directions. She was well schooled and her coat was presented to a high standard. I’m sure they will swap places during their careers. |

Res | Shirkeira Tabitha | Litter sisters. Both have really quality head pieces. Tabitha needs to settle herself on the move, she was a little erratic maybe because her sister was in the class. I would say Tabitha’s finish to her coat was better than Talula’s. Both full of breed type. |

Limit Bitch | ||
1st | Kimevan Crazy Diamond | I looked back at my results from a breed club show back in 2019, and I was delighted to discover I awarded this bitch a nice junior class. Gold with black mask just oozed breed type! Her head was just gorgeous, stunning large round dark eyes that were well spaced, her nose had that ideal slight up tilt; her muzzle was square and had nice width. Good reach of neck leading into her shoulders, sturdy body with fabulous ribs, her back is level and she has a lovely tailset and carriage. Her rear is strong with good muscle tone. Her coat was presented to perfection. She can have a bit of a diva attitude and can be a little stubborn on the move. She nearly threw it away a couple of times but fortunately for her, she got her act together when it mattered. Her beautiful breed type won her that second CC today. |
2nd | Ch. Peekin Hoi-Tee-Toi-Tee-Tu | Ultra feminine Gold & White. Very pretty head piece with all the essentials. She has a lovely neck and topline. Perfect head and tail carriages when she was stacked. Her head and expression is gorgeous, breed type filled to the brim! She has fabulous bone and substance under that magnificent coat. Today she had a habit of stopping and starting on the move, but at her age, who cares? She is a fabulous ambassador for the breed, thank you for bringing her. Best Veteran in Breed. |
