based on what they saw on the day of the show.
| This was the fifth time I gave CCs to Shih Tzu, and it was another enjoyable day. Every time I enter a Shih Tzu ring my thoughts go back to my younger years in Scandinavia where I was taught about the breed by Anita and Kurt Berggren with the famous Anibes dogs. We were very good friends, and they were my tutors. I want to thank the exhibitors for trusting me with their lovely dogs and the Bath Canine Society for inviting me. |

| 1st | Coursani Still We Rise | Beautiful baby with a superb outline, head and attitude. I can see this boy going a long way if he fulfils this early promise. |
| 2nd | Santosha Shockwave Of Shenleyvale | Nice dog of very good type, which was unhappy in the ring. He is well constructed but didn’t like it in the tent. I preferred the head on the winner. |
| Puppy Dog | ||
| 1st | Thaisu Storming Off To Bishbow | Very promising youngster with a beautiful head. He is well constructed, and I loved his tail carriage. He is very eye catching on the move. |
| 2nd | Chellanda Another Chance | Another top class puppy which pushed hard. He was close to Storming Off, but I wasn’t too excited about his mouth. |

| 1st | Massarati Arssamandi Astarte Gold At Densown (ImpP | This is a first-class Shih Tzu which impressed me. Lovely head and outline. Moved very well indeed. |
| 2nd | Ch. Tameron Mr Black Is Back | Very close to the winner in type and quality, but I just preferred the neck and head carriage of the winner. |
| VHC | Marhilway Driving Edge At Jacquinta JW | Quality dog with a nice head. Moves and stands well. |

| 1st | Jadoremy Red Bounty Forever | Quality dog which stands and moves well |
| 2nd | Tejayse Just Like Fire | Nice bitch which is quite well constructed. I preferred the neck and shoulder on the winner. |

| 1st | Marhilway Driving Edge At Jacquinta JW | Quality dog with a nice head. Moves and stands well. |
| 2nd | Ziams Flying Dutchman | Another dog with a nice head. He is well constructed, but he carried too much weight on the day. |
| Yearling Dog | ||
| 1st | Ch. Matsuba King Of Hearts | As soon as this fabulous dog entered the ring my heart rate went up. He has a superb head, with an arrogant carriage and he moved around the ring as if it was a Formula 1 racetrack, showing full pads. I was very close to giving him the CC, but up against The King And I, I felt that I would have liked King Of Hearts to be slightly more masculine. RCC |
| 2nd | Santosha Dark Secret With Coursani | This was a very strong class and Dark Secret was fighting hard. He was close to the winner, but I felt that the first gave a bit more on the move. |

| 1st | Ch. Senousi Dressed For It By Fairmere | This was a quality dog with a superb outline. He has a good head and he carried himself well. His tail was set high and it was carried gaily, well over his back. |
| 2nd | Ch. Paliden Simply A Star With Wharfeview | Similar to the winner in quality, but I preferred Dressed For It’s topline on the move. |

| 1st | Santosha The Winter Soldier At Honeyshuchun | Top class dog of excellent type. He has a very good head and a well arched neck. He is well coupled with a deep chest, and he moved very well. |
| 2nd | Santosha Polar Star | Dog of excellent type which is well constructed. I preferred the expression on the winner which is why I placed him second. |

| 1st | Ch. Mifcahs The King And I JW (Dk,Nor,Swe,No,Int) | Here was the one I had been waiting for. He is a sturdy masculine male with an arrogant carriage and an excellent head. He is well coupled with a level back and he has plenty of self-confidence. When I looked at him it was almost as if he told me to look for number two because he was determined to win, which he did CC & BOS |
| 2nd | Ch. Chanikos Living The Dream At Ethelsmead | There was a lot to like about this gentleman which has a very nice head. He is well constructed, and he moved well, but I thought he could have been shorter coupled. |

| 1st | Jadoremy Thunder Bolt Zuse Sh CM VW | Excellent dog of very good type. He has a good head and a lovely outline. He won the class on his excellent movement and attitude. |
| 2nd | Ch. Cremefern Sweet Talkin Guy JW ShCM VW | This is a dog of excellent type but wasn’t in his best form. He just didn’t want to show me his virtues. I preferred his head to that of the winner, but Thunder Bolt had the presence and showmanship which Sweet Talkin Guy was missing on the day. |

| 1st | Ch. Coursani Sand Queen (UK/JSY) | What a charmer this is. Everything is right about this promising baby and with a bit more ring training, I am sure she will go a long way. |
| 2nd | Debeaux Precious Time | Another nice puppy which is well constructed. I did, however, prefer the neck and presence of the winner. |

| 1st | Chanikos Tangerine Dream of Shenleyvale JW | I liked this puppy a lot. She has a nice head and is of excellent type. She is sturdy and has an excellent neck and outline. Moved very well with strong rear action. BP |

| 1st | Ch. Rossvale Little Black Dress | Beautiful youngster of high class. I loved her head and her outline. It was a pleasure to watch her smooth-flowing positive movement. |
| 2nd | Ch. Tameron Miss Black Orchid | This bitch was very similar to the winner in type. She has a nice head, but I thought Little Black Dress had a bit more strength all through which made me give her the class. |

| VHC | Shirkeira Talula JW | Nice bitch with a good head. She moved well, but I preferred the outline of the first one. |

| 1st | Cavateena Situla Scarlet for Lavril | I did like this bitch a lot. She is of excellent type, and she has a very nice head. She has an attractive outline and she moved very well. |

| 1st | Santosha Ice Queen of Coursani | This is a first-class bitch with a nice head. She is well constructed, and she moved well. |
| 2nd | Ch. Warathwaite Royal Diva | She is close to the winner, but the winner held her topline better on the move, which made me place her first. |
| 3rd | Shirkeira Tabitha | This is a typical bitch which moved well, but I preferred the outline of the winner. |
| VHC | Chanikos Poket Full O Dreams for Shanjora | Bitch of very good type, which stands and moves well. |

| 1st | Ch. Rossvale’s Finnish Model | Here was the challenger. This bitch ticked all the right boxes, and she has a Chrysanthemum like face. She is well proportioned, and she has a nicely arched neck. Her shoulders are well laid back and she is well developed in body. She moves like a professional athlete and her tail is like the handle on a tea pot. A deserved RCC winner. |

| 1st | Ch. Bishbow Summer Breeze | Wow, this was the Queen of Bath 2022. She has got it all. She has a broad and round head which is wide between the eyes. Her muzzle has ample width and is square, short, flat, and hairy. Her eyes are large, dark, round and placed wide apart without being prominent. For me this gave her an expression close to the ideal. Summer Breeze has the right proportions, and her head carriage was impressive. To watch this beautiful bitch on the move is like watching ballet, it warmed my heart CC & BOB |
| 2nd | Rossvale Forever Dreaming | This is another top-class bitch with a beautiful head. Forever Dreaming is very well constructed and well filled out in body. She moved well, but I would have liked to see a bit more attitude. |
