1st Veteran Dog | 2022 | Boston & District CS | Miss S Johnson | At 9 ½ years he is still showing the same quality and animation he showed as a youngster. Lovely head and expression. Such a good balance. A level topline and high tail. Really enjoys his showing. |
2nd Veteran Dog | 2022 | Shih Tzu Club of Wales & West | Mrs J Quick | 9yrs 11months Gold/white. Loved his expression with a pleasing head, dark eyes, level topline and showed himself off, covering the ring with such ease. |
2nd Veteran Dog | 2022 | Bath | Mr K S Wilberg | This is a dog of excellent type but wasn’t in his best form. He just didn’t want to show me his virtues. I preferred his head to that of the winner, but Thunder Bolt had the presence and showmanship which Sweet Talkin Guy was missing on the day. |
Best Veteran 1st Veteran Dog | 2022 | Scottish KC (All Breeds) | Mr R Oldham | Solidly built gold and white in a fairly compact frame, large head well laid out, super dark eyes, good finish to chin, |

Moved out well front and rear showing level topline at all times. |

Showing little sign of ageing - A proven winning career, with the breed database recording a host of BOB’s, and shows he is approaching a staggering 60 class wins at the time of writing this critique. Dog CC, 1st OD | 2019 | Blackpool | Mrs J Paradise | 6 year old lad with textbook head and expression. Some are pushing the size limit but this one is perfect for size whilst still totally masculine and nothing is exaggerated. Excellent mouth, lovely dark pigment, beautiful coat and immaculate presentation and handling to get the best from him. A great showman. On seeing the catalogue later on I was not surprised that I loved him so much as he is sired by one of my all-time favourite Shih Tzus who has obviously passed on many of his qualities to his son.
