3rd Limit Dog2019CruftsMr K SinclairBlack with many breed attributes. Like his size, balance, presented in immaculate condition and coat.
2nd Limit Dog2018DriffieldMr E PatersonAnother good one, fabulous pigment, scores in neck and shoulders, loved his overall balance and movement, would prefer slightly larger eyes but close up.

Dog CC, 1st LD2018PaigntonMrs B CroucherI liked this dog last time I judged and I haven’t changed my mind. Love his arrogant attitude and natural showmanship. His solid black colour makes him harder to assess but I found him well balanced all through. Excellent body, good topline and tailset. His head is carried correctly and is masculine without being overdone. Moved with style. CC
Dog RCC, 1st PGD2018East of EnglandMr R Oldhamsolidly built and shown in clear black coat, large masculine head, clear eyes placed well apart, square muzzle, open nostrils, decent front assembly, arch to neck, well ribbed up, level topline, decent tailset and carriage, steps out smartly, RCC.
2nd Post Graduate Dog2018Three CountiesMr H Ogden. Two and a half yrs, striking bl, of superb construction, but not such striking head features and lacks a little in chin and muzzle to match his breadth in skull, excellent body proportions, good angles, well ribbed back, short loin, well rounded rump, teapot tail off a level back, moves as expected with reach and drive.

2nd Post Graduate Dog2017Welsh KCMr E EnghInstantly attractive, well shown dog with a very beautiful coat and colour. Balanced head, but could also have more expression and darker eyes. Somewhat more up on legs than the winner, still within the acceptable. Excellent outline standing, beautiful tail. Moved with energy and suppleness, but with some tendency to roach up.
1st Yearling Dog2017BournemouthMs K Tod. Solid black which shouts “look at me” from the minute he walks into the ring. Round head, with dark eyes, firm jaw, wide chest, well muscled, which allows him to motor round the ring showing his lovely balanced outline with ease. Very well presented and handled to perfection.
3rd Yearling Dog2017PaigntonMiss S Johnson
1st Yearling Dog2017East of EnglandMr T BallTwo very nice dogs here but of completely different types. The winner was this 21 mth old black. A born showman he just stands there and commands attention, presenting a beautifully balanced outline with excellent neck, topline and tail for both set and carriage. Broad, rounded skull, eyes of correct set but could be a fraction larger, square muzzle of good breadth, correct dentition and nice wide open nostrils. He is so good to go over with correct angulation both front and rear, excellent rib and well muscled all through. Moving out so well in profile, using himself at all times and true on the down and back.
Dog RCC, 1st PGD2017Three CountiesMrs V Williams-Wegmann20 mths, striking classic black boy has a masculine expression, dark round eyes, lovely ear set just right below the crown, firm jaw is slightly undershot, plenty of substance and bone throughout, he is correctly just a tad longer than high, his tail set is held proudly high, liked his proud arch of neck which complimented his outline. Broad chest, level topline remains on the move, sound each way having a good reach and drive. Super old fashioned type with an outgoing character. A lot to like here. Reserve Dog CC.
2nd Yearling Dog2017WELKSMrs C E Cartledge19 mths. Same age this black, quality head, lovely dark eyes, excellent overall proportions, moved and showed well turned out, very close decision between first and second.
