All male expression, ex mouth, proud head carriage on a strong neck giving the head to tail balance, level topline, very impressive in profile. Moves with energy, gives the impression of a ship in full sail. There is something so special about solids and their zest for life and arrogant attitude.
2nd Open Dog2022East of England4 year old Solid Black boy who exudes quality. He commands attention entering the ring, a real eye catching dog. He is so super sound, well made in firm body condition. So balanced head to tail, well laid shoulder into strong back, well rounded rib going back to firm loin. This boy’s body condition is superb and a credit to his owners. Didn’t have enough cards to go round today and this boy was certainly deserving as his Champion status would prove.

Very well balanced with good outline and pleasing head with good muzzle and skull and neat ears. Well sprung in body and nicely made front and rear. Good on the move.

Good reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders, excellent top line and tailset. Compact body well ribbed back and short in loin. Excellent hindquarters, well carried tail. Fabulous black coat. This dog has the “wow factor”, he is electric on the move, holding great shape with great extension. In super condition, pleased to give him the CC, his first. Glad to hear my res CC puppy was his son. Out moved all competition in the challenge. A dog much deserving of his title.

Initially I thought that this black dog could be my winner, however, as I needed to nit pick he lost out overall on a slightly narrower jaw. He moves far better when at a moderate speed. RDCC.

Lovely neckline, ribs well sprung and of good length, strong bone and so well-muscled. Beautiful head to tail balance, moved with drive and enthusiasm and shown in fabulous coat.

Well placed nose with well open nostrils. Well placed eyes. Enough depth and broadness in underjaw. Enough broadness between the eyes for age. Excellent neck and topline. Excellent tail carriage. Excellent depth of body. Moves very sound and balanced with lovely personality. Lovely coat and presentation. Lovely temperament.
1st Post Graduate Dog2019South WalesExciting solid black in bandbox coat and condition, loved his well proportioned head with his dark round expressive eyes, good width to jaw and correct nose placement, wide nostrils, slight arch to his neck which he carries so proudly, straight front and well padded round feet, good depth and width to chest, well coupled and sturdy, well rounded muscular thighs, high set tail in balance with head completing the picture, excellent mover fore and aft and had super carriage in profile, considered for higher honours in hot competition.

Well balanced, standing and moving, lovely outline showing classic reach and drive. Excellent in skull, good length of neck sweeping into well laid shoulder. He is sound in body, well sprung and good length of rib, bang on topline and tailset. So many plus points, one of my line up who pushed hard for top awards. A very bright future whose time will come.
