Today was just my preference. 2 and a half yr Solid black. Anyone who knows me will know that for me to appreciate a solid black the head and expression have to say it all. This boy has a lovely expression and head. Beautifully balanced throughout. Good bone, and width throughout. Strong neck and well laid shoulders, level topline and well set tail. Well angulated front and rear. Moved very smoothly around the ring keeping his shape and balance. I was very pleased to award him the RCC. |

The hands flowed over the body. I will say please watch this dog’s hind movement in profile that I’d say so correct. |

| 2nd Open Dog | 2022 | STC Summer Open Show | This solid black dog really appealed to me for his balanced outline and sound movement, he is very nicely constructed and smaller all through than 1, well presented and handled, he was unlucky to be in the same class as 1 today, He has a lovely round head, dark round eye, square muzzle and a well set nose, wide jaw and lovely expression. Balanced angulation fore and aft, level topline, well set tail that he carried well over his back, he moved well showing full pad. A lot to like about him. | |

Just needs a little more lift to his tail. A beautifully shaped head with the desired width giving good width of jaw and good dentition. A nice expression which could only be improved by a rounder eye. | |

Such a classic model standing in excellent balance, covered with a dense, well-presented coat. A proudly carried masculine head, looking at you with that typical warm and somewhat arrogant expression. Just the right length of body that gives a great combination of sturdiness and elegance. Combining this with such a nicely high carried tail he just demanded to be counted for. Moved with drive and style, keeping the nice outline. A dog I keep remembering thinking back on this day. Naturally he still needs some more time to fully mature in body, but I could with greatest pleasure award him the reserve ticket in the challenge. A dog I am sure will do really well in the times to come. RCC. | |

Moved out soundly in a strong quality class, another with a good future I preferred the overall movement and presence the winner has. |

He was the best to go over in the class and appealed for overall type and outline. Neck of correct length to balance, firm straight back, nice spring of rib with good length to ribcage, muscular loin and tail set on high and of correct carriage. Quality head with masculine expression; broad, round skull, excellent eye, wide open nostrils, short muzzle of ample width and pleasing mouth. Well constructed all through and moves out well and shows full pad when going away. Very well handled. |
