It is a sad fact that there are Shih Tzu in this country who are in need of help. The reasons are varied, some need another home due to family breakdown or the death of their owner, some sadly have been neglected or, in a small number of cases, abused. The thing that they all have in common is that they need a loving home. Shih Tzu Rescue organisations around the country are dedicated to caring for and finding good homes for Shih Tzu that find themselves in need. They are staffed by volunteers who freely give their time and expertise for the good of the breed.
