based on what they saw on the day of the show.
| I would like to thank the exhibitors for such a lovely entry. I commend the breeders who have obviously worked so hard to improve mouths, I didn’t find one ’tombstone ’ set of teeth, quite the contrary, mouths were very impressive. On a more negative note, a lot of backends, were weak and lacked muscle tone and function, with hocks suffering likewise. Due to this, there was not many with the effortless kick back that a Shih Tzu is known for. I was shocked to find quite a few with not much spring to their rib cages giving rise to no depth of chest. Teapot tails are on the decline and those that did have them made for a complete picture. Having said all this, I really enjoyed my day and found quality in the classes. |

| 1st | Paliden Shine Like A Star | Red/white baby, so very appealing with beautiful balance. Head and expression pleased, good bite, high tail set, excellent shoulder and upper arm placement. Moved with great style for one so young, must have a bright future! |
| 2nd | Ch. Suzitzu Lord Charles (BALTIC CH, Latvian CH, Lithuanian CH, Estonian CH, Russian CH, RKF CH, Finland CH) | Gold/white, another lovely pup, loved his head, slightly longer in loin than one but looked good on the move! |

| 1st | Shihdances Antonio Regale | Beautifully presented gold/white in fabulous condition. Loved his expression, excellent mouth and bite. Strong neck held proud at all times, good fore and aft, well ribbed back, was one of the few with forward reach today, really covered the ground. Res CC. |

| 1st | Peekin Archie Tu | Not the glamour boy in the pack but was good to go over. Correct size and balance, best of fronts, good spring to ribs, high tail set. Moved out well, |
| 2nd | Ch. Miracey Rebel Rider (UK, Ir) | Very flashy gold/white boy, excellent presentation but would have liked more substance and muscle under the coat. |

| 1st | Carlita Surrender To Dream | Black/white, handsome boy, just 18 months old, excellent balance, level topline, good angles. Head appealed, expressive eyes, good muzzle. Moved out with style and kick back. |
| 2nd | Wharfeview Candy Man | Lovely deep red, sound as a pound. Nose may have been slightly off but did not deter from the overall picture. Excellent tail set, good sprung ribs, good mouth. Moved like he owned the ring. |

| 1st | Saffron Sherhy I Walk n Talk with Debeaux (IMP RUS | Drew my eye instantly, real showman, excellent head detail, super mouth, fabulous in outline and balance, strong neck, super conformation of shoulder/upper arm with corresponding rear angles. Strong hocks, super tail set, finished off with strong reach and drive on the move. |
| 2nd | Ch. Tameron Mr Red Edition JW | Thought these two boys very similar, good mouth, fabulous muscle tone, just preferred the outline of first on the move. |

| 1st | Ch. Polmac Ice Road Trucker of Shorestar | Black/white with outstanding balance, perfect markings, strong neck which he used all the time, strong rear which gave him that all important Shih Tzu kick, head good proportions, not over done at all. His movement was a joy to watch. My pleasure to award him the CC and BOB. |
| 2nd | Ch. Miracey All Guns Blazin | Ultra glamorous gold/white, presented to perfection, good to go over but today he was not comfortable in the ring giving his handler a hard task. Not sure if something had spooked him, a shame as he is a lovely dog. |

| 1st | Daltricia Forseti with Delmarvey | Two pups that were a delight, Super feminine head, correct nose placement, super mouth, excellent body for such a youngster, moved with great aplomb and kick back. A higher tail set would have just completed the picture. |
| 2nd | Ch. Zeeva Love Unlimited for Maili JW Sh CM | Two pups that were a delight. Head to die for, melting expression, good attributes throughout, but what a little madam, would she move? She would not! |

| 1st | Ch. Tameron Miss Black Opium | My notes say WOW. This young bitch really has the X Factor. Perfect balance, gorgeous head with that oh so snooty expression. Black/white parti in perfect proportion, great mouth, dark eyes, and on the move did not disappoint, such style for one this age. She is faultless in her construction, every angle just right. Her best is yet to come with maturity but just could not deny her the CC. |
| 2nd | Ch. Pekoe Surprise Surprise JW | Pretty gold/white baby, delightful head and expression, upturned nose, strong neck, great tail set, excellent on the move. |

| 1st | Shorestar Rapunzel of Polmac | Nice balance, good ribbing, cheeky girl enjoying herself, won this class on her movement. |
| 2nd | Warathwaite Queen of Scots | Nice gold/white bitch but carrying too much weight which affected her movement. |

| 1st | Lyndatzu Jai Mali | Mixed class but some good choices, Lovely gold/white parti with exquisite head proportions. Super balance, good front extension, super tail set, nice tight elbows, movement a joy to watch. |
| 2nd | Thaisu Hot House Flower | Solid red, so appealing, great size, good balance and outline, she really looked through me with disdain. Moved with reach and drive. |

| 1st | Keytor Red Wedding for Essvana | Wonderful red/white parti, loved everything about this girl. Loved her head and snooty expression, wonderful balance with just the right amount of leg length to body, excellent ribbing, tight elbows, super tail set, a real picture. Both handler and dog enjoying themselves and lovely to see. Res CC. |
| 2nd | Polmac Balthasars Gift | Black/white pretty girl. Loved her balance and outline, good shoulder/upper arm ratio, lovely size and she didn’t disappoint on the move. |

| 1st | Ch. Zeeva Letz Do It JW | Disappointing class. Gold/white, super-size, expressive head with that typical Shiddie arrogance, excellent tail set, good strong neck, moved well but a little lacklustre. |

| 1st | Superlion Chiante | What a super 8 yr. old. Exquisite head, Mandarin eye lashes which made her expression so appealing, super-size, balance, great body, on the moved could show the youngsters a thing or two. |
