| I would like to thank the officers and committee of the Northern Counties Shih Tzu Club for their warm welcome. I appreciate that it is never ideal for exhibitors to have a replacement judge and I would like to thank everyone who showed on the day. Thank you to my stewards Helen Shaw and Trevor Crossland. |
| Puppy Dog | ||
| 1st | Paliden Show Stopper for Miklojas | 11-month old G&W male, of a good size and type. Wonderful soft masculine expression, large round head, lovely eye with good width to under jaw. Well balanced, good chest with good upper arm, would prefer a little more lay of shoulder. Good ribcage, top line with good tail set and carriage. Moved soundly front and behind, but needs to settle a bit. BPD. |
| 2nd | Shihzarbruno Teddy Edward | 9-month old B&W, of a nice size and type. Good expression with nice dark, large round eye with good underjaw. Well balanced in body with good tail set and carriage. Good angulation in front, with good spring of rib, would like him a little more ribbed back. Moved well in profile and soundly behind, just needs to settle a bit in front action. |

| 1st | Ch. Honeyshuchun God of Thunder | 15-month old G&W of excellent type. Wonderful head and expression. Masculine, large round head with good eye and excellent bite with great width to underjaw. Sturdy dog with correct balance, excellent front, good top line with excellent bone. Angulations good front and rear. Wonderful spring of ribcage well ribbed back, good tail set, would prefer slightly higher tail carriage. Great coat texture. Moved soundly in all aspects. Delighted to award him the RCC, just a little more maturity and finish to the coat and he should be one to watch. |
| 2nd | Gladmin Transkei Teddy JW | Just over 12-month old male. Quality dog with excellent balance, good top line and excellent ribcage well ribbed back. Angulations front and rear. Moves soundly in aspects. Good tail set and carriage. Little between 1 & 2 just preferred the expression of No 1 on the day. |

| 2nd | Lyndatzu Shogun | B&W 2-year-old. Another nice type. Good head and expression with good width to underjaw, would like just a little more chin. Good top line with good rib cage and well ribbed back. Moved soundly front and rear. Preferred the balance of 1 on the day. |

Angulations good with excellent ribcage well ribbed back. Ex tail set and carriage. Moved soundly in all aspects. Unfortunately, in the challenge was a little off kilter. Superbly presented. |
| 2nd | Santosha Ladykiller at Honeyshuchun | 2.5 year old G&W. Well balanced and lovely type and good size. Masculine head, with dark eye, would prefer more width to lower jaw. Good top line standing and on the move, with excellent ribcage and well ribbed back. Would prefer a little more forechest. Moved soundly. |

Excellent rib cage and well ribbed back with good bone, ex tail set and carriage. Thoroughly enjoyed the ring, moving very happily but a little off kilter on the day. |

Well balanced, good top line with excellent rib cage, well ribbed back holding a good top line standing and on the move. Good angulations with ex tail set and carriage. Moves soundly in all aspects superbly presented. |

Lovely well balanced type, good bone, with ex ribcage, well ribbed back holding a good top line standing and on the move. Good angulations, ex tail set, tail a little tight today, but moved soundly in all aspects and either of these puppies could swap places. |

Nice outline, well balanced, well bodied with excellent front, and good angulations front and rear. Moved soundly although a little uncertain how to carry her tail and took away from her silhouette when on the move. Well presented. |

| 1st | Ch. Miracey Disco Inferno | 22-month old G&W. This young bitch caught my eye instantly in the class, with her overall make and shape and balance and to go over her did not disappoint. Wonderful type with lovely head and expression with excellent bite. Sturdy in body with excellent front, good upper arm and lay of shoulder and everything flowed going over her, ex top line, standing and on the move, good rib cage, well ribbed back, with excellent tail set and carriage. Moved soundly in all aspects, her movement was effortless and graceful with a certain amount of arrogance. Shown in excellent coat and tip top condition. To be critical I wouldn’t like any more coat. Quality bitch and I had no hesitation in awarding her the CC and ultimately BIS. |

Well balanced with good front, excellent rib cage, well ribbed back. Angulations excellent with good top line standing and on the move. She moved so soundly in all aspects and with arrogance. Excellent tail set and carriage. To be critical I would like a little more finish on this bitch. |
