based on what they saw on the day of the show.
| I would like to thank everyone for their entries, having not judged for 8 years it was an eye opener for me, I did not find that some classes contained the quality for championship show level. Everyone seems to show at this level now and do not find their level at Open shows, there does not seem to be a learning curve, some dogs should not be shown at all, but of course this is my personal opinion. I had 90 entries but 17 missing so an overall 73, so to have at least 7 very overbuilt, I do not mean bodyweight but too much bone, I know a Shih Tzu should have good bone but this is just too much, I found it more in dogs than bitches and I feel these dogs should not be used at stud as this will continue as all faults do, this of course is only my opinion! Another thing I found, with regard to coats, is that it seems the fashion to groom out undercoat, this I know makes the coat look smooth, especially when very long, but the coat feels very flat when you are going over the dogs, and lays very flat, the coat should have good undercoat giving depth. I do not mean to teach anyone to suck eggs in any way but there is a big problem with hind movement some looked like they have only one leg in the rear. Toplines are good and most dogs have ample turn of stifle so I can’t really see why this is. It will be a particular problem in bitches as they are so narrow for breeding, surely when your dog is at home running about you can see this. We had a particularly noisy breed in the next ring and that was off putting for some of the dogs, also not being out and about for the last 2 years does take some getting used to, a lot were unsettled.I was pleased overall with my placements, and my top winners were very good indeed. So pleased to see the BOB Dog go second in the Group and only beaten by the Best in Show Poodle. |

| 1st | Mifcah’s By Royal Command To Javerda | Larger type with excellent coat and put down well. Hope he does not get too big. He has a lovely head with true shih tzu expression, nose placement is correct and mouth good. Tail held well over back just a little unsettled, this could have been the noise from the other ring. |
| 2nd | Santosha Shockwave Of Shenleyvale | Gold/White - A very pretty dog with very special head, correct jaw and mouth lovely to go over. Very unsettled by the noise but so much to like about him. |

| 1st | Massarati Arssamandi Astarte Gold At Densown (ImpP | Deep Gold/White – Such a beautiful head, correct jaw and well placed nose, wide head with well set ears and dark eyes. Well covered body with good bone, level topline showing his reach of neck and well set tail. Moved out well coming and going keeping his topline at all times. Very promising Best Puppy Dog. |
| 2nd | Chellanda Another Chance | Pale Gold/White Just preferred head of my first place, but so much to like. Excellent coat with good density, well covered body and strong movement. Just more unsettled by the noise than the first place. |

He has a well covered, good boned body kept his level topline at all times on the move, moved with drive coming and going. Correct reach of neck and well set on tail. |

| 1st | Miracey Sand Warrior For Tilbe | Dark Gold/White – A typical real shih tzu in my opinion. Excellent coat and condition with good body and bone. Lovely masculine head, low set ears and good round dark eye. Correct jaw and dentition. Showed himself happily and well, with correct movement front and rear. |
| 2nd | Matsha Jambalaya | Gold/White Close decision with first. Has a lovely head and expression and a lot to like. Just not so happy on the move. |

| 1st | Ch. Ashmakin Bodacious Smooth for JaxTzu JW ShCM ShCEX | Best Dog and BOB Solid Gold Brindle/Black Mask. Such a special dog for me so much to like, has real ring presence and shown to perfection. Has ample bone and body in excellent coat. He moves out so well showing his level topline at all times. Glad to give him his 4th CC and happy to see him take 2nd in the Group against the Poodle who went Best in Show. |
| 2nd | Ch. Miracey Zero Hour | Gold/White another lovely dog with everything to like. His head is beautiful and he moves out so well. Put down in excellent order he showed himself really well such a pleasure to go over. |

| 1st | Jadoremy Thunder Bolt Zuse Sh CM VW | Pale gold/white with good movement front and rear, level topline, well placed tail giving balance with his reach of neck. Good size head with good jaw and well set dark eyes. Happy on the move showed himself well. |
| 2nd | Ch. Cremefern Sweet Talkin Guy JW ShCM VW | One I have always liked from the ringside you would not believe he is 10 years old with such a bounce about him. Deep gold/white excellent dense coat, masculine head with pleasant expression, dentition for age is excellent, nose placement and nose leather as it should be. Moved out well front and rear showing level topline at all times. |

| 1st | Santosha Sunkissed At Miracey | Gold/White. What can I say she stole my heart, I could have run off with her. The most beautiful pretty head with dark eyes and excellent placed nose. She has everything at only 6 months, she showed herself well and moved soundly considering her age and the noise wonderful. I do hope all her promise comes good in the future. Best Puppy |

| 2nd | Marhilway Explorer The Edge | Gold/White preferred rear action of first but a lot to like, nice expression with good jaw and dentition dark eye and low set ears. Angulation is correct and moves out well coming and going. |
| 3rd | Tzusweet Black Pearl | Sold Black/White splash in front. Special dark eye in her black coat, excellent nose placement and jaw with correct dentition. Moved soundly and well, she has good body and bone. |

| 1st | Jolly Oziresun at Mapimakastar (Imp) | Unplaced in Limit bitch, but sound with level topline and moves out well. |
| 2nd | Sampa Keke Tisha Dicky | Gold/White of the smaller type quite light in body and bone and a bit out of coat but moved well. |

| 1st | Lucky Arrow Viva | Sister of 1st in Junior. Has a better tailset than her sister, but very much the same head, very pretty expression and excellent dark eye well placed nose. Moved well very happy which is nice to see. |
| 2nd | Tzusweet Black Pearl | Sold Black/White splash in front. Special dark eye in her black coat, excellent nose placement and jaw with correct dentition. Moved soundly and well, she has good body and bone. |

| 1st | Paliden Golden Showers | Solid Gold. Finely made but such a beauty, typical shih tzu naughty. Extremely good head with good eye colour and low set ears, correct jaw and sweet expression. Topline is good and so well balanced with her reach of neck and tailset. Showed herself well. |
| 2nd | Ch. Warathwaite Royal Diva | Pale Gold/White. In excellent coat with ample undercoat. Has a lovely pretty head with correct nose placement and well set ears a lot to like about her typical head. She moved out well and has ample body and bone. |

| 2nd | Gladmin Durbans Diva For Maili | Larger size bitch with a great deal of presence. Moves out well, is so well balanced. Good clean movement front and rear, good body and bone. She shows balance on the move, just a little unsettled on the move. Would like to see more undercoat, although she was put down in very good order. |

So much about her to like, she has the most beautiful head and expression, low set ears and good size dark eyes, well set nose and wide jaw. She has a well covered body with excellent bone. Wonderful on the move so full of herself. Glad to give her the 3rd important CC. She deserves it. |
