1st Veteran Dog2022Boston & District CSMiss S JohnsonAt 9 ½ years he is still showing the same quality and animation he showed as a youngster. Lovely head and expression. Such a good balance. A level topline and high tail. Really enjoys his showing.
2nd Veteran Dog2022Shih Tzu Club of Wales & WestMrs J Quick9yrs 11months Gold/white. Loved his expression with a pleasing head, dark eyes, level topline and showed himself off, covering the ring with such ease.
2nd Veteran Dog2022BathThis is a dog of excellent type but wasn’t in his best form. He just didn’t want to show me his virtues. I preferred his head to that of the winner, but Thunder Bolt had the presence and showmanship which Sweet Talkin Guy was missing on the day.

Best of Breed, DCC, BV, 1st VD2019LeedsSuperb quality gold and white, just right for size and substance, he has such a typical outline and is so balanced all through. His head is masculine but not overdone in any way, good broad round skull, shock headed with good fall over eyes, balanced muzzle, short, square with good width, good bite and underjaw. Eyes, clean, large and round well placed and with a super expression. Long leathers, nicely arched neck into well laid shoulders, strong straight front legs, good round bone, rib deep and lengthy, level back, strong short loin, well muscled rear. He has a grand tail, heavily plumed and set on high and carried well over his back giving him a truly balanced front and rear. His movement is sound and typical with good reach in front and powerful rear action, so smooth and easy a joy to watch, he was in full coat and was so satisfying to go over. Dog CC, 1st OD2019BlackpoolMrs J Paradise6 year old lad with textbook head and expression. Some are pushing the size limit but this one is perfect for size whilst still totally masculine and nothing is exaggerated. Excellent mouth, lovely dark pigment, beautiful coat and immaculate presentation and handling to get the best from him. A great showman. On seeing the catalogue later on I was not surprised that I loved him so much as he is sired by one of my all-time favourite Shih Tzus who has obviously passed on many of his qualities to his son. So sound all through. DCC & BOS. In the challenge for BOB I felt that my two Best of Sexes complimented one another.
