This dog just has so many qualities and has ’Shih Tzu’ stamped all over him. He is so beautifully balanced whichever way you look at him. Great headpiece that is so well proportioned showing typical ‘Shih Tzu’ arrogance with a full expressive eye. Correct nose placement with good width to underjaw. Nice neck with well laid Shoulder. Sound front assembly embracing correct width to forechest. Well ribbed up in body which is of correct height/length proportions. Well muscled in hindquarters giving good bend to stifle. Correct topline with quality tailset. This dog was presented in great coat. He is not a flashy dog, but he is honest – he has all the breed essentials combined with type and quality. Moved soundly both coming and going and presented a balanced profile picture combining both drive and reach. Showed plenty of pad when moving away. I had no hesitation in awarding him the Dog CC today |

Have watched him from the ring side and he did not disappoint to judge, nice broad head, dark eye, correct nose placement and dentition. Pleasing masculine expression. Well laid-back shoulders, nicely arched neck, good deep chest and well ribbed. Moved well with good reach in front and drive behind. RDCC. |

Excellent head size and shape with all the correct components of a good masculine Shih Tzu expression without coarseness. Good depth and spring of rib, strong through the quarters with level top-line. A dog that moves out well with true hind movement showing full pad and flick up. Reminiscent of many good dogs of the past. Was pleased to award him DCC and BIS surely a Champion in the making. |

Good nose placement with open nostrils, good bite with good underjaw. Good, strong neck. Straight top line. Good tail placement. Strong body and bones. Tight elbows and excellent angulation of the hind legs. Exquisite colour and coat. Excellent movement with a good dive and flick. An honor to go over him. Dog CC & BIS. |

Sound construction and of a proportioned size and profile. Two quality dogs from established kennels, hard to chose between, the smoother-flowing movement of class winner just pipped a quality performance from them both. |

He scored with the initial impression of his outline, slightly longer than high, broad, round skull balanced with his tail and a level back. His head is very satisfying, very together with everything in harmony, the round, dark eyes and tip-tilted nose giving him a haughty outlook. He is soundly constructed and carries a full coat, dense and thick. He moved soundly but reluctantly and just managed to hold off |
