I felt really privileged to be asked by the Committee of the South Wales & Western Counties to judge this first class Joint Shih Tzu clubs breed championship show.
The quality of all exhibits was very good, with lovely heads, nice eye placement, correct jaw, coat texture and movement good, with correct tail carriage.
I would also like to thank my stewards Shaun Matthews and Kat Strange for a very efficient job and creating a lovely atmosphere throughout the day.

I would like to thank the SKC for inviting me to award CC's for the first time after being in the breed for 31 years and for the wonderful hospitality shown. I would like to thank also the exhibitors for their entry and making my day so enjoyable. Even though the weather done its utmost to spoil the day, with heavy rain and storm conditions throughout. There were some close decisions in a number of classes where I had to split hairs, when on another day in different conditions it could have gone differently.
