Judging summary for Mrs Suzanne Metcalfe-Bilgin

Show critique

I would like to thank the exhibitors for a lovely quality entry with some very nice exhibits. The weather was beyond our control but we managed to stay outside albeit having to endure some very blustery conditions which is not helpful to exhibitors with a coated breed. This breed is very close to my heart having owned my first one in the 1960’s and my main concern today is the loss of free flowing movement. Many were driving from the rear showing their pads but with a lack of front angulation and very short upper arms the front reach is limited. The majority of exhibits were beautifully presented but some would benefit I felt from more muscle tone. I would also like to thank my very efficient stewards who did a sterling job keeping everything running smoothly and preventing the wind from taking off with the contents of the judging table.
