Full Critique for Blackpool 2022

based on what they saw on the day of the show.
| My sincere thanks to the Officers and Committee of Blackpool for the opportunity to judge at their show. The grounds were fabulous with large well laid out rings and luckily, we missed the heavy rain shower. Massive thankyou to my stewards – you simply can’t do the job without them. Before my judging it was bought to my attention that “predictions” were circulating by some people. Well, you don’t have to be a Mistic Meg to know that my winners would have breed type, good construction and be able to move round the ring with little or no effort, but more about them later. Some were, however, very sluggish on the move and some just didn’t want to raise their tails, frustrating for both handlers and judge and in some classes, this made a difference to the placings. |
| Puppy Dog | ||
| 1st | Thaisu’s Blinding Light | Best Dog Puppy and Best Puppy in Breed Solid Gold: loved his overall balance, excellent head size with large dark eyes. Coat coming on beautifully. Moves without effort and is so sound. |
| Junior Dog | ||
| 1st | Keola Cruz Control JW | Gold/White. Only just over a year old and still has some maturing to do but he is coming on nicely. Good overall shape and moves with confidence. |
| Yearling Dog | ||
| 1st | Ch. Warathwaite The Kingslayer (Bel,Lux, UK) | Deep gold and white, coat in excellent condition, very balanced, loved his head and expression, moves with confidence. Will watch his progress as I believe he has a very bright future |
| 2nd | Carlita Remember To Dream | Cream/white. Coat of good texture and in excellent condition. Loved his head and expression, Overall balance is very good and he was handled beautifully. |

| 1st | Ch. Paliden Simply A Star With Wharfeview | Solid gold, good jacket, very nice head and expression, well balanced, felt he was a little reluctant on the move. |
| 2nd | Baccibo Truly Madley Deeply | Solid gold, slightly more length than 1 but overall a good dog to go over, large head and good expression, movement looked hard work today. |

| 1st | Ch. Cedarhythe Majical Destiny | Dog CC and BOB I had judged this boy as a MP and thought him special so was delighted to find my mind wasn’t changed. Excellent breed type and balanced from nose to tail with no extremes. Moves without effort and never breaks his stride, he keeps a fabulous topline. It was a great pleasure to award him the CC and later BOB. |
| 2nd | Marbo Whatever You Want | Gold white with fabulous head and expression, level topline and very good balance, coat in excellent condition, he moves really well. |

| 1st | Shihmali My Guy with Cimona | Solid gold fabulous head, loved his expression, nicely balanced, moved the best in this class. |
| 2nd | Ch. Shalehan Yasheron | Gold white, nice balance excellent head loved his expression but sadly he really didn’t want to show his movement to its best today. |

| 1st | Paliden Shine Like A Star | Deep gold and white, very good balance, lovely head and good expression, good coat condition he moved very well. |
| Minor Puppy Bitch | ||
| 1st | Sassyshi Jamaica Mistaica JW | Gold white, what a sweetheart, so feminine, lovely balance, coat coming on nicely she moved with confidence, she must have a good future. |
| 2nd | Mykabel Jinglebells At Vilmos | Solid black, my notes said full of life, she really did give her handler a tough time, that said she is lovely to go over and is nicely balanced, please give her time. |

| 1st | Thaisu’s Black Rose For Kimevan | Best Bitch puppy, Solid Black, such a pretty feminine girl, good head nice shape and very balanced, moved with ease. |

| 1st | Thaisu Every Witch Way to Marbo | Best Junior Gold white, I loved her head and expression, she is beautiful to go over and moves with ease, she has a very bright future. |
| 2nd | Ch. Rossvale Little Black Dress | Black white, smaller that the winner but lots to like a real pocket rocket, lovely balance and her movement was a delight. |

| 1st | Mapimakastar Suzie Hugo | White gold, just needs to get her final finish on her coat to complete her, excellent topline and moves well, she has a lovely feminine expression. |
| 2nd | Norboo Esmeralda By Shihzarbruno | Deep gold white, loved her balance. Very good head lovely expression but didn’t put her best into her movement. |

| 1st | Senousi Love The Dress | Gold beautiful head and expression and very nice balance, very good coat and very good movement. |
| 2nd | Paliden Golden Showers | Gold, good head and expression, coat is good but was a bit less enthusiastic on the move than 1. |
| Limit Bitch | ||
| 1st | Ch. Paliden Bucks Fizz To Ekland JW | Gold black mask, really liked this bitch, fabulous head and expression, balance is excellent, coat and presentation was first class. In her class she moved really well, however in the challenge I felt she didn’t put her all into it. |
| 2nd | Ch. Warathwaite Royal Diva | Gold white, lots to like about this girl, well balanced, good topline head and expression are fabulous but just didn’t move as well as winner. |

Corrlough Ice Maiden | Bitch CC and BOS Gold white, today this bitch just sparkled, she has beautiful breed type, so balanced and her coat is fabulous, she is just so feminine, everything in the right proportion and no extremes In the challenge she simply demanded the CC and it was pleasure to hand it to her. |
| 2nd | Ch. Zeeva Mirror Image JW | Gold white, such a worthy champion excellent breed type, balanced with no extremes, beautifully presented, winner just had the edge on movement today. |

| 1st | Ch. Taydale Dancin In The Stars with Cedarhythe | Best Veteran in Breed Black white, a long-time favourite of mine, who for her age is fabulous, balanced and she still holds a perfect topline, she moves like a 2-year-old, so feminine. She is a credit to her owners. |
| 2nd | Thaisu Desperate Housewife for Kimevan | Gold white, beautiful to go over without extremes, beautiful coat, loved her feminine expression and she moved really well. |
