based on what they saw on the day of the show.
| First and foremost, I would like to thank Northern Counties Shih Tzu Club for giving me my first appointment. They certainly put on an extremely well run and organized show. I would also like to thank my very able steward who helped the day run smoothly. Thank you to all the exhibitors for a great entry and for turning out in such awful weather conditions. I found a very high standard of competition resulting in some very nice exhibits for me to assess. It was very much appreciated. |
| Minor Puppy Dog | ||
| 1st | Ch. Tameron Mr Black Is Back | A very confident well balanced baby. Head developing well with round dark eyes placed well apart, good nose placement, broad jaw, and good dentition. Level topline and correct tail set. Good depth of chest for one so young and ribs coming along nicely. Moved freely around the ring showing full pads. A quality baby who was a delight to watch. BPD |
| 2nd | Debeaux Money Talks | Another lovely black and white baby with a warm expression. Dark, round eyes, correct nose placement and good dentition. Well arched neck leading onto a level topline and good angulation all through. Moved fluently around the ring enjoying his day. |
| 3rd | Stubbina Meadow Brown At Daltricia | Gold and white youngster who was placed 3rd in MPD and was much more settled this time round. Head developing nicely with dark eyes, well placed nose, jaw of ample width and good dentition. Moved soundly keeping his topline and deserved his win in this class. |

Broad round skull, large dark eyes set well apart, good width to jaw with excellent dentition. Good neck and shoulders leading onto a level topline. Fabulous bone and spring of rib for one so young and moved around the ring with good reach and drive. In lovely coat and condition. One to watch. |
| 2nd | Dinasupra Mandarins Dream Mit Jardhu | Gold and white youngster in lovely puppy coat. Not as mature as first but coming along nicely with a well shaped skull, round eyes set well apart, good nose placement and well padded muzzle. Ribs developing well and good rear angulation. Just needs a little more confidence which will come with practice. Moved around the ring showing full pads. |

| 1st | Ch. Cremefern Trigger A Storm At Symaraju JW | A well balanced gold and white boy with a kind expression. Good head shape with well placed ears and lovely long leathers. Round dark eyes, good nose placement, broad jaw, and good dentition. Covered the ground well holding his topline and driving well from behind. In good coat and condition and very well presented. |
| 2nd | Alchez After The Storm | Black and white boy with a masculine expression. Good head shape and large dark eyes, good nose placement and broad jaw with good dentition. Strong firm topline, good bone, spring of rib and good width throughout. Moved confidently and with purpose showing a strong driving action. |

| 1st | Ch. Senousi Dressed For It By Fairmere | Eye catching gold and white boy with a very good head and melting expression. Dark wide set round eyes, good nose placement, broad jaw with good dentition. Strong neck, well off for bone and good width throughout. He was a little reluctant on the move at times but still a quality dog who did enough to win this class. |

Good neck and spring of rib with a level topline and well angulated and muscular rear. Moved confidently around the ring with a good driving action. |

Well arched neck, level topline, good spring of rib and well muscled rear. Moved beautifully around the ring reaching and driving with a good flowing action. |

Good neck and spring of rib with a level topline and well angulated and muscular rear. Moved confidently around the ring with a good driving action. |

Dark, round eyes correct nose placement broad jaw, good reach of neck, spring of rib and bend of stifle. He moved soundly and was the best in this class keeping a level topline and with good reach and drive. In good coat and condition. |
| 2nd | Isishouse Lord Grantham JW | Pale gold and white boy with a gentle expression who has matured nicely since I last judged him. Good head, round well placed eyes and good ear set, broad jaw with good dentition. Enough neck leading onto a level topline and well sprung ribs. Moved confidently around the ring with good balance and showing a good driving action. |

| 1st | Ch. Mifcahs The King And I JW (Dk,Nor,Swe,No,Int) | Very attractive gold and white boy who oozes quality with his large broad skull, correct ear placement and melting expression. Eyes placed well apart with good nose placement, well padded muzzle, and good facial furnishings. This boy is well off for bone, has good spring of rib, a well arched neck, level topline and correct tail set. Muscular rear with good bend of stifle and well balanced both standing and on the move. In excellent coat and condition. A quality exhibit and a real showman who deserved to with this strong class and I was happy to award him the D.C.C I’m sure it won’t be long for this lovely boy to gain his title and I will watch with interest. |

Large dark eyes set well apart, good nose placement and broad jaw with good dentition. Good reach of neck, spring of rib, level topline and a well set tail. In good coat and condition. I was pleased to award him the R.D.C.C. which was well deserved from a very strong class. |

She held her top line on the move, had good head to tail balance and was sound. A very nice young puppy in good puppy coat. |
| 2nd | Ch. Rossvale Little Black Dress | Another quality baby with a sweet expression and head coming along nicely. Lovely dark eyes, good nose placement. Good shoulders and reach of neck, level top line and correct tail set. Moved freely around the ring with a lovely balanced outline. |

Broad round skull, dark round eyes, good nose placement, with wide open nostrils. Lovely width to jaw with good definition and well set ears. Good reach of neck, level top line, ribs coming along nicely and good tailset. A very forward puppy who motored around the ring reaching and driving with ease. A top drawer puppy who surely has a good future. I was pleased to award her B.P.B and B.P.I.S. I will watch with interest. |

| 1st | Thaisu Gothic Witch | I have admired this young lady from ringside and she certainly did not disappoint. Very attractive gold and white quality bitch. Gorgeous head, dark wide set round eyes, good nose placement well set ears with lovely long leathers and well padded muzzle which all together gave a beautiful feminine expression. Well arched neck, good depth of chest, spring of rib, level topline, well angulated, muscular rear, and good tailset. Momentarily she was uncertain, but she soon regained control and couldn’t be ignored and certainly pulled out all the stops in the challenge. Well, handled and presented. A beautiful bitch that I was pleased to award her B.C.C. and B.I.S I have no doubt this girl will make it to the top and will watch with interest. |
