I should like to thank the Officers and Committee for inviting me to judge at their first Open Show within a show. The hospitality was superb and I was made to feel so welcome. I must also thank my two stewards who worked so hard with great efficiency to make my job so much easier. The weather gave us extreme heat, rain and continually blustery conditions which did not make presentation very easy for the exhibitors, but they all seemed to take it in their stride and I must also thank them for their good humour and for making me feel appreciated. |
