| I enjoyed my first Shih Tzu appointment, and thank the exhibitors for their entry. There were some classes that created difficult decisions. On the whole most exhibits were in good body condition, however, some were carrying too much weight, which detracted from their overall appearance. I would like to thank my stewards, Pam & Ralph, for managing the ring for both breeds I judged. |

| 1st | Ch. Thaisu Public Image | Very smart solid gold baby. Lovely shape and good size for age, correct lift of tail, good bone, short coupled. Lovely head and expression with large dark eye. Free moving and stylish. Best Dog Puppy. |
| 2nd | Lashemalts Jeux De Vie Jardhu | Gold and white baby of good shape and size for age. Smart and balanced, but just preferred head and expression of first. |

| 1st | Daltricia Wilbur Smith JW ShCM | Stylish gold and white in superb coat and condition, balanced and free moving. Good bone, short coupled. Lovely eye, good bite. Promising and eye-catching. |

| 1st | Ch. Tameron Mr Red Edition JW | Beautifully presented gold and white. Balanced with good angulation front and rear. Good depth of chest and spring of rib.Free moving. Attractive head with good eye and correct nose placement. RCC. |
| 2nd | Shihmali Ace Of Hearts | Gold and white who lacked the build I was looking for. Would have preferred him to be shorter coupled and would also have preferred more breadth throughout. |

| 1st | Kimevan Man In Black | Smart black boy, who once he settled carried his tail correctly. Correct shape and size. Balanced and well built. Attractive head and expression with good eye and nose placement. Moved freely once he relaxed. In good coat and condition. |
| 2nd | Jazala Austentatious Sh CM | Gold and white of correct shape and size. Good coat. Pleasing head with good eye and correct bite. Preferred overall balance of first. |

| 1st | Ch. Isishouse Tutankhamun ShCM | This dog caught my eye as soon as he came into the ring. Beautifully presented gold and white boy who is balanced throughout. Lovely shape and size, well constructed either end with good forward reach and rear action. Lovely head and expression with good eye and correct nose placement. I had no hesitation awarding him the CC. |
| 2nd | Thaisu Lust For Life | Very smart solid gold of excellent breed type and well constructed. He was not settled on the day and did not show to his best advantage, however, I liked his shape and size and he has a beautiful head and expression. |

| 1st | Ch. Zamadar Majic Potion for Cedarhythe | Beautifully presented black and white boy in excellent coat and condition. Lovely head and expression with good eye. Well angulated front and rear. Free moving and sound. Just carrying a little too much weight at present. |
| 2nd | Warathwaite Prince Vegas | Black and white of correct size. Good tail set and carriage. Would have preferred better angulation either end. Did not show to his best advantage. |

| 1st | Kimevan No Ordinary Boy | Gold and white boy in excellent condition which belies his age. Would have preferred him to be a bit more compact. |
| Minor Puppy Bitch | ||
| 1st | Cedarhythe Xplosive Darlin | This was a super class with several very promising babies. I liked both of the first two very much and had to make a difficult decision between them. Both of these black and white babies are correct shape and both are good size for age. Both have correct angulation either end, and both are balanced and free moving. While their heads differ, they both have correct eye and nose placement. Both are in excellent coat and condition. I just preferred overall balance of first on the move today, but I am sure they will change places many times. Best Puppy. |

| 1st | Warathwaite Queen of Scots | Larger gold and white girl in good coat and condition. While she has good angulation either end and moved well, her head does not balance with her body. |
| 2nd | Ch. Virtulvilage Vain (Jun CH) ShCM (Ire) | Correct size red and white girl with well presented coat, but who lacked the large eye and melting expression I was looking for. Would have preferred better angulation either end. |
| Junior Bitch | ||
| 1st | Daltricia Ariadne | Black and white girl who is both stylish and feminine. Best coat texture of the day. Good head carriage which balanced with her tail. Free moving but in adolescent coat which just lacks finish at present. |

| 1st | Ch. Camelle Chocolate Mousse at Rossvale JW (imp Fin) | This solid gold girl caught my eye as soon as she came into to the ring and did not disappoint. Lovely shape and size. Well built with good spring of rib. Correct angulation either end. Short coupled. Good tail set and carriage. Lovely head and expression. She really comes to life on the move and is balanced throughout. Good coat and condition. I know she will have a bright future. RCC. |

| 2nd | Jardhu Aint Miss Bee Havn | . Gold and white of correct shape and size. Well presented coat. Pretty head. Well made body and moved out freely. Not showing to her best advantage on day. |

| 1st | Ch. Thaisu She Rocks | This stylish bitch commands attention. Lovely head and expression balancing correct tail carriage. Correct shape and size with good angulation both ends, resulting in good forward reach and rear drive. In excellent coat and condition. She flowed round the ring and easily won the class, CC & BOB. |
| 2nd | Ch. Jia Lidzhuan for Shenedene JW (Imp Israel) | Well presented girl in excellent coat and condition. Correct shape and size. Good head with good breadth and correct eye and bite. Preferred the body construction and movement of first. |
