Best of Breed, DCC, 1st OD2021BUBAMr T WareingBlack and White 4yr old. Broad head, dark round eyes set well apart, slight top-tilt of nose and wide mouth projected the ’snootiest’ of expressions. Don’t let his abundance of coat fool anyone, everything you could hope for is waiting underneath. Correct width at front and rear, with a deep chest. Well laid-back shoulders and firm elbows. Level topline and perfect rib-to-coupling proportions. Good spring of rib and plenty of substance throughout. Smooth, flowing movement, with reach at front and drive from the rear, polished off an outstanding performance. I was fortunate to judge this dog as a puppy first time out and have watched him develop from strength to strength. In prime condition and at the top of his game, with plenty more to come. Worthy DCC and BOB
2nd Limit Dog2021Extra Champ Show Scotland STCMrs L PerssonExcellent type and size, large round head with a sweet and masculine expression, lovely padded muzzle, round dark eyes, high set nose, well marked chin, lovely arched neck, well carried tail, broad long deep ribcage, lovely body, elbows could be tighter, well made rear, moves lovely from the side but could be more stable in front, excellent coat.
Dog RCC, 2nd LD2021DriffieldAbsolutely stunning outline and beautifully presented in the ring, and did not disappoint on the table, excellent overall quality and in great coat, good sound movement and a level topline, I just preferred the overall head on 1. RDCC

2nd Limit Dog2021BirminghamMrs S CrossleyAnother very good type Shih Tzu, he has all the virtues, preferred head and mouth of first. They could change places any time.
Dog RCC, 2nd LD2019LKAMr J CarterB/w, a masculine head, low to the ground, one of the best bodies of the day, good topline and strong hindquarters, good gait, just needs to firm up in hind action. Res DCC.
2nd Limit Dog2019BUBAMr G Carter30 months. My headache of the day separating these two quality exhibits, both have so much to like, and yet are so different. Standing this young dog gives a picture of balance and type. He has a stunning headpiece with the most warm, yet arrogant expression. Good eye and excellent nose placement with width to underjaw. Good dentition. Arched neck of sufficient length to give that arrogance to head carriage. Well laid shoulder and stood soundly on a well developed front assembly. Good body and correct topline. Good turn of stifle incorporated with well proportioned hindquarters. Moved much faster than eventual winner, but showed great freedom in reach and drive. Sound in all departments. Just wished he could have lifted his tail higher on the move to balance the overall profile picture. Two quality exhibits both so well presented.
1st Limit Dog2019South WalesBlack/White, Super boy showing lovely breed type, loved his head and expression with his dark round eyes, excellent width to mouth, wide nostrils, slight arch to neck blending in well with his well laid back shoulders, ample bone, good depth and width to chest, sturdy and well coupled, firm level top line, high set tail carried gaily over his back in balance with his head, well rounded and muscular thighs, so well balanced all through, came into his own on the move showing that typical arrogant smooth flowing carriage I admire in the breed, close up for top honours.
2nd Limit Dog2019RichmondNice type. Black with a little white. Very nice head and expression. Good tail set and carriage. Very good coat and condition. Good mover.

2nd Puppy Dog2018Southern CountiesMrs C Harwoodnice size and shape with broad head, dark eye, lovely body and good width, just not holding top line level on the table, well presented and handled, would like a bit more lift to tail on the move as he flattened it on his back.

1st Puppy Dog2018BirminghamMr T WareingI believe this was a UK debut for this 9 month old puppy which opened his show career with an impressive performance. A quality black and white of traditional type. Warm young expression to be admired. Good width of fore chest, level topline and a well-balanced profile. Accomplished handler soon dealt with the pups brief ’first-show’ nerves, encouraging sound movement, displaying good drive and reach. With a little more experience, this young boy has all the makings of a winning show career. Awarded BPD and gave me a lot to consider for BPIB.
