based on what they saw on the day of the show.
| I would like to thank the Officers and Committee of Blackpool & District Canine Society for their kind invitation to judge and my Stewards for their help and hard work under difficult conditions. I thank the exhibitors for the lovely quality entry on this my first occasion of awarding Challenge Certificates. The weather did its level best to spoil the day, thankfully it did not and I had a most enjoyable time. I am exceedingly grateful to the exhibitors for travelling in such foul weather and for their continued patience and good humour throughout the day. I feel privileged that so many allowed me to judge their dogs in the less than ideal conditions. I was very pleased with both my dog and bitch line ups and highly delighted with my CC and RCC winners. Observations: I felt that the overall entry was good quality. However, I was concerned to find some small eyes that were not round spoiling the typical expression; lack of rear angulation leading to poor hind movement; some with loose front assembly affecting front movement and some narrow, short ribcages. |

Very good nose placement and dentition giving a soft open expression. Good front assembly and well angulated hind quarters; deep well sprung ribcage; level topline; good tail set. In good coat and condition; handled and moved very well. |

Lovely size and balance; beautiful well shaped head, large warm dark eyes and very good dentition all giving a most pleasing expression. Well angulated front and rear with broad well sprung ribcage. In lovely coat, moved well. |

| 1st | Ch. Thaisu Morning Glory | A quality class; the exhibits will change places many times in the future. Three and a half yr. old gold and white dog. Very well balanced with everything in proportion. Fabulous head with large dark expressive eyes; correct nose placement and dentition set on a good reach of neck. Deep chest; well laid shoulders and well sprung ribcage. Level topline; well angulated rear and lovely high set tail and carriage. Moved with verve. I was very pleased to award him the RCC. |
| 2nd | Ch. Santosha Thunderbolt | 2 yr old black and white dog. Another lovely dog with a beautiful headpiece; having large dark eyes, correct nose placement and dentition. Well angulated front and rear; such a strong well constructed boy; high set tail. Carried himself very well, just preferred the overall balance of 1, close decision. |

| 1st | Ch. Santosha Sandcastle | What a class! Such quality, some quality dogs went home cardless. A gorgeous, so well balanced gold and white dog. Fabulous large well shaped head with expressive, large dark and round eyes; correct nose placement; wide jaw; correct dentition and strong chin giving a beautiful yet masculine expression. So well angulated at the front and rear with a deep well sprung ribcage. High set tail balancing with a good reach of neck and level topline which he kept on the move. In lovely coat and condition. He moved with such verve and Elegance it shouted look at me! I could not deny him the CC and BOB. |

Well shaped head, lovely large dark well spaced eyes; good nose placement and correct dentition; well padded muzzle giving a lovely feminine expression. Deep, well sprung ribs; good front assembly and well angulated rear. Carried herself very well on the move and seemed to have that little extra sparkle. |
| 2nd | Jardhu Aint Miss Bee Havn | Almost 9 mths gold and white bitch, similar in size and balance to first. Nice head with dark well spaced eyes; correct nose and dentition giving a pretty expression; good well made front; well sprung ribcage and good rear angulation; moved very well. |

Keeps her shape on the move; moves out very well with animation. I was very pleased to award her the CC. |
