Best of Breed, DCC, 1st OD2018CruftsMr N StevensGold/White one of those dogs that caught my eye when it walked into the ring. Seen this dog from the ringside at previous shows and wanted to see for myself his qualities and I was not disappointed. A large domed masculine head with large well placed eyes, correct stop, good dentition in a wide jaw. Good reach of neck, deep wide chest, heavy boned, correct spring of rib, level topline with a teapot handle tail, giving the correct balance on the move. With a wonderful length and quality of coat texture all of this stacked up on four well muscled legs, and he covered the ring with ease showing full pads. Was pleased to award him DCC and BOB
2nd Open Dog2017Shih Tzu ClubPretty much the same comments on this one also. Two high quality dogs.

Dog RCC, 1st OD2017BournemouthMs K TodA g/w recently crowned champion and I now know why. Very typical of the Weatsom breeding, he is exceptionally made throughout, just the right size, has a great overall balance. Beautiful round head, a gentle, soft expression with the darkest round eye, perfectly tip tilted nose, the perfect mouth, and strong chin. A strong neck is set into perfectly straight topline.. His well rounded deep chest leads into a well ribbed body. Strong boned, great rear end which gives him the strength to move with drive. In beautiful coat. Very sound all over and presented so well. Mrs Stangeland would be very proud of how this dog has been so well looked after and handled. RCC.
Best of Breed, DCC, 1st OD2017PaigntonMiss S JohnsonGold and white dog of a lovely size, very well balanced and beautifully presented. 2nd Limit Dog2016RichmondDr A PaloheimoGlamorous dog in full coat, lovely eyes, good head, excellent neck and tail, strong back, good mover.
1st Limit Dog2016City of BirminghamMrs J AndertonThis was a strong but very mixed class, some very heavy dogs or high on the leg. This attractive dog looks the part. He has a beautiful head, with soft melting dark eyes. A tipped tilted nose, for me without it the expression isn’t Shih Tzu. The quarters are well angulated and used well to flow round the ring. Nice presentation strongly considered for top honours, another day another judge.
2nd Limit Dog2016Welsh KCMrs B CroucherVery pleasing in profile. I liked his head, just not quite the finish of muzzle of the winner. Good coat. A bit unsteady on the move.

Pressed hard in the challenge where he won the res CC. Beautifully presented.
Dog RCC2016BathMrs A PickburnGood class to judge, dogs whom I like had to go cardless. Well-presented and coated gold and white dog, lovely expression, very like the expression of my eventual CC winner, later discovered they were half-brothers. Decent head and eye, good lay back of shoulder, well bodied and balanced, holds topline on the move, good tailset and moves well. Just feel he needs to mature on slightly to see the best of him. Res CC.
Dog RCC2016Shih Tzu Club of Wales & WestMs L YoungLovely g/w dog with a melting expression, he has a lovely head, nicely arched neck, laid back shoulders, level topline, good tail set which he carried on the move, pleased to award him RDCC.

1st Limit Dog2016Scottish KC (All Breeds)Mr A WightLots to admire in the g/w. Such a delightful headpiece giving that so desired expression from excellent eyes. Well set, long ears, ample neck, nicely ribbed and a decent forechest. He is another whose topline rises on the stack, yet once moving around the ring, his shape comes back! His head carriage and tailset completed the picture as he circled the ring and earned him the top spot.

2nd Minor Puppy Dog2014ManchesterMr A WightAnother star in the making, this time a gold and white. A size smaller and not so advanced as the winner but a joy to go over. His head is truly gorgeous and his large expressive eyes would win any heart. His nose is slightly tip tilted which adds to his appeal, he has a good neck, is level in back, has a heavy bone and he too has such good tail carriage. Another which was so accomplished on the move, reaching and driving and having that engaging head carriage. I see he is half brother to both the CC winners - all being by CH Just Tom at Manschau
