A different type to the winner but another who was well made all through and pleasing to go over and he put up a strong challenge here. He presented a nicely balanced outline with arched neck of good length, straight topline, excellent ribbing, firm muscular loin and correct tail for set and carriage. Quality head with broad, rounded skull, dark expressive eyes of correct placement, short square muzzle of good width, wide open nostrils and nice dark pigmentation. Shoulders well laid back, good breadth to chest and muscular hindquarters with nice strong hocks. Moving freely with good drive from the rear. |

His head is pleasing and balanced with good skull to muzzle ratio although the latter could be a fraction wider. The eyes are large and round but I would like them a shade darker. None of this detracts from his entirely characteristic expression, however, and he is a typical Shih Tzu constructed on correct lines and moving with assurance, carrying his tail well. |

Tended to be a bit high behind when standing, but evened out on the move. Sound and efficient mover with good flick-up. Well conditioned coat of excellent structure. |

The winner I thought was so good for overall type and balance and with nice bone throughout. Delightful head and expression with good breadth to skull and muzzle, dark round eyes set well apart, good width of underjaw and the best of mouths. Nicely arched neck of correct length, well ribbed back, good depth of brisket and tail set on high and of excellent carriage. Soundly made both front and rear, moving freely with excellent self carriage and showing full pad. Best Puppy Dog. |

Once they gel, they could worry the best. Lovely head and expression, good large dark eyes. Best of mouths and excellent pigment. Nice arched neck, level topline and good strong bone. When he settled really covered the ground. Coming in to good coat, well presented and handled. |
